TIPS SETTING FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TODAY ASAP

For those who haven’t remembered, make sure you remove Wayne Rooney from your teams ASAP.

If you have to take a hit then so be it – it will be worth it. Jose Mourinho has not handed the 30-year-old a start since United’s Capital One Cup win over Northampton Town.

It’s no coincidence that the Red Devils’ form has picked up since Rooney’s ommission from the starting XI so expect the England man to continue his stint on the bench against Liverpool on Monday night.

Willian

Chelsea midfielder Willian had some awful news in midweek which means he will miss the clash with Leicester on on Saturday afternoon.

The Brazilian lost his mother and posted a poem in tribute to her on Instagram on Thursday ahead of the all-important match against the Premier League champions.

Willian has already found the net twice for Antonio Conte’s side in the English top division so a large proportion of fantasy footballers have the 28-year-old in their sides.

He’s expected to return when Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on October 23.

Adam Lallana

Adam Lallana is struggling to be fit for Liverpool’s home match versus arch-rivals Manchester United on Monday evening.

The midfielder did not feature in either of England’s World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia after picking up an injury in Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat of Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp, however, stated Lallana is ‘not ruled out’ of the game at Anfield.

Is he worth the risk?

Three players you must bring in…

Son Heung-min

Many predicted Tottenham could be in a bit of trouble when Harry Kane suffered an ankle injury against Sunderland in mid-September.

Spurs supporters predicted summer signing Vincent Janssen could be the man to fill the Kane-shaped hole but another player has stepped up in the striker’s absence.

Son Heung-min has scored three in three for the north London outfit in all competitions and is definitely worth a punt ahead of their clash with West Brom on Saturday.

He picked up the Premier League Player of the Month award which was fully deserved as a result of his recent performances.

James Milner

Has there been a better utility man in the history of the Premier League than Liverpool star James Milner?

The 30-year-old has transformed himself into a handy left-back this season, under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp, and has greatly impressed in his recent showings in defence.

Milner already has four goals for the Merseyside outfit this season so playing at the back has certainly not impacted his game negatively in the goalscoring department.

Will he get a clean sheet against Manchester United at Anfield, though?

Romelu Lukaku

If you haven’t already got Romelu Lukaku in your team, what on earth are you playing at?

The Belgium centre-forward has been unplayable at times this season and his quickfire hat-trick against Sunderland in September was an absolute joy to watch.

Ronald Koeman’s side head to the Etihad to face Manchester City on Saturday afternoon and Pep Guardiola’s side are without a victory in their last two matches.

Lukaku will no doubt be licking his lips…
